An MoU was signed between NSDC International and Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment (CBLA (OET)) to support Indian youths aspiring to a global career in healthcare by providing language proficiency and other relevant skills.
The Event happen on 15th May 2023. The venue of this event was held National Skill Development Corporation, 301, 3rd World Mark 1, 306, Northern Access Rd, Aerocity, Delhi 110037.
NSDC CEO Shri Ved M. Tiwari graced the event alongside Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Advisor, NSDC & NSDCI, Ms. Sujata Stead, CEO CBLA(OET), and other senior members.
Dr. Sandeep Singh says “This collaboration between NSDC and CBLA will set the pace for setting robust eco system of skilling of young Healthcare Workforce in India to meet the severe shortages of healthcare workforce in domestic and overseas job market.
OET is mandatory requirement for young aspirants who are looking for career in foreign countries and this test is conducted by CBLA globally.
NSDC international is all set to map the supply line of healthcare workforce including Nurses, Care Givers , Physiotherapists, Dental Assistants , Dialysis Technicians, Terminal Care Giver , Geriatric care etc with the demand aggregation through G2G engagements from countries such as Canada, US, Australia, UK, Singapore , Germany , Ireland , GCC countries etc . The ecosystem which is developed is all set to take care of immediate and long term requirements of Healthcare skilled workforce thereby making India as Skill Capital of the world”.
