Top officials from Saskatchewan province in Canada met with leaders from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Leading the Saskatchewan delegation were Ms Richelle Bourgoin, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Immigration and Career Training, alongside Christa Ross, Assistant Deputy Minister and 3 senior officials of Govt of Saskatchwan. On the NSDC side, the prominent leaders included Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO NSDC , Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Advisor NSDC & NSDCI , Mr. Ajay Kumar Raina, COO NSDCI , Ms Shrestha Gupta VP & CTO NSDC along with other senior officers.

The meeting delved into several focus areas including initiatives under International Healthcare Workforce Mobilisation with a focus on the healthcare and allied sectors, the NSDC Trust and Skill Indian Digital Hub, engagement strategies with other Canadian provinces, and a comprehensive understanding of the current and future resource requirements of Saskatchewan Province. Discussions also centered around establishing a working model and charting the way forward for collaboration between NSDC and Saskatchewan Province.
