Dr Sandeep Singh Kaura Adviser NSDC Govt of India , visited AIIMS Bathinda during his brief visit to the city.
He inspected the AIIMS Centre of Excellence in the Health Sector which trains the health care workforce in ventilator training and basic ICU functioning.
Dr Kaura was impressed with the basic infrastructure and announced that this centre would be taken under NSDC for skill training of the healthcare workforce for overseas employment under Skill India International Mission.
Dr Kaura also visited the AIIMS IPD, he lauded the quality of care provided to Punjab and the surrounding states.
He was accompanied by Dr Kawaljit Singh, HOD Urology, and the Nodal Officer of the Centre of Excellence in Health Care.
